Nice beat, in addition to everything else
The beat has a nice tribal feel to it, and it's paired with some great synths. Keep up the good work, seriously! It's a shame that this song isn't getting more attention.

Never heard kicks roll like that!
The way you used the percussion was really interesting. Separates this song from a lot of other trance. Great job.
That's a fantastic thing to hear. Thanks!
Preset z3ta arp alert!
But seriously, that doesn't really matter. Just so happens I also have z3ta so I recognized that arp from the intro. I like how this song adds a touch of heaviness, since most trance is too airy fairy for my tastes.
haha thx ^^ yuh me like heavy trance >:3 so me do it....well i try 2 xD
anyways thx 4 tha review ;D
Sounds like metal! Because it is
I agree with the first guy, you used some pretty sweet riffs. I myself love metal from the 80s, and some of the stuff in this song sounds like 80s metal stuff. I'm talking about the melodies, which you did a really good job with. I think modern metal should focus more on melodies instead of just heaviness. Your song has a great balance of both.
Awesome, so I should make more like this then?
Reminds me of stuff on a ship
It's like a sailor's tune from hundreds of years ago, which is pretty sweet. It also reminds me of a game I played for the Commodore Amiga way back in the day. But the game had nothing to do with boats. Did you use FL Studio for this? If so, which VSTs did you use for the instruments?
You know, up until now I didn't even realize this had something in common with sailor songs, but I guess it really does! Thanks for pointing that out.
As for the sounds, they're all free soundfonts downloaded off of hammersound.net, and yes, this was made in FL studio. If you're really interested in the specific sounds, feel free to PM me, and I'll list the sounds that you want to know more about.
Ethnic feeltastic
I wouldn't call it Arabian, but it definitely has a tribal feel going.
Acutely it is a mix of clatter but it does have Arabic in it Specially gulf.
Tanx for the post :)
Interesting idea
Perhaps for the sequel you can add a clap or a snare. Or go crazy with every percussion in existence!
Percestra! Yes! Thank you, Anthon!
I will get started Immediately!
AAAAA?
Needs more As, IMO.
But seriously, pretty funky stuff you got here. Well done, sir. Now I'll place my bets on this |
