Well not much of a song

But as thanks for enjoying my stuff over the years and making that Halo Custom Edition youtube video with my music I'm giving it top scores.

Yackemflaber responds:

haha thanks man, keep up the great work!

Very cool

I'm especially impressed with your ability to blend the vocals with the song so easily. I've been experimenting with vocals recently and can't get the music and vocals to blend without one overshadowing the other.

ApproachingNirvana responds:

Thank you!

Meh

Well it's an ok piece, but not really deserving of top 5 IMO. In almost 7 minutes you used approximately 3 different synths. You can do better than that I bet.

DigitalPulse responds:

Yea, we didn't use a million synths, but that's house for you.

Thanks for the review,

Digital Pulse

Sweet stuff

The retroness of the synths you used is what makes this cool.

AdeptusThanatos responds:

Thank you! I like retro. Retro is good.

Really cool but...

You should tone down the distortion a bit. Also maybe change up the melody. Otherwise, really cool piece.

benen responds:

thank you, still working kinks out of system

Liked it!

The synths you used are especially catchy. 5/5 from me :)

KrawniK responds:

Thanks bro :D

Glad I could get a 9 :)

Good from a technical standpoint

Well this is good but personally I like it better when you make original songs. I especially like the ones from 2006 like Melody Madness, Power Pace, and Battery Power 2.

dj-Nate responds:

I'm sure I'll make one of those soon. Thanks for the review Anth0n.

Great composition

Not sure if you remember but you reviewed some of my works years ago, and you seemed to really like them. Figured I'd check out some of your stuff in return. I'm very impressed with the composition, with my songs I just make a few short melodies and have them repeat. But it takes real skill to have the melody constantly changing like it does here.

trekopep responds:

Yeah, I've always loved your songs! I didn't realize it was you when you wrote a review for Baws Bahtel. Also, just so you know, the game I was telling you about for quite a while will pretty much definitely never be finished. (Actually, both games I told you about.) Along with about a bazillion other games I started working on.

Hmm, maybe I'll use one of your songs in a DIFFERENT game. (I'll try, anyways.) :D

Well, the main part is the piano piece, which does just repeat itself, but the rest of it changes. I'm glad you liked it! Thanks for the review!

Great teamwork

The vocals are crystal clear and complement the melodies very nicely. I noticed that you didn't overdo the synths to the point that they dominate the song, which would be bad. That's probably what makes the vocals fit so well. Very enjoyable to listen to!

ApproachingNirvana responds:

Thanks for the review!

Spacey feel

The synths, melodies and filters match up really well to give this song an awesome spacey feel. It's like a combination of ambient and trance. I'm giving it a 5/5, and if you want you can check out my newest piece too. I could use the feedback.

Marks-a-lot responds:

sweet, I appreciate it a lot. I'm on my way!

Hey I'm Anthony and I basically just make music that I like to call my own style.
