So sweet

Forever Gamer? What a great title for a serious, emotional song that uses a hilarious concept. I used to love playing on my dad's Amiga when I was like 4 years old. This song simply rocks.

SkyMarshall responds:

Ah you and me both :) Those were the times. Glad to see Im not the only old-school gamer in here.

Woohoo

Pretty well made, the lead blends with the other sounds nicely but it would be cool if it changed around a little bit. I gave it a five, and I also read about you getting your record label on SIX1 so congrats on that! How did you find a label, maybe I could get one too at some point.

Dj-Fanta5t1c responds:

ah thank you!
i ofund one thorugh one of my awesome as hell fans! karkyn plague asked me to check out his record label

i checked it out and then sent them some songs and they loved them! they are some really cools guys too.

if u have some nice ass industrial or speedcore, terrcore, whatevercore really.

they might consider it! also i found out some lyric sites have label sites, like darklyrics.com has label links, its weird =O.

thanks for likin the stuff man! and surprsed to see someone from SIX1!

Unique piece

You're really good at blending mysterious sounds. Those sounds are what made the song interesting. I agree with Dj-Immune that it sounds more industrial, but I'm still giving it 5/5.

DarkMcShadowX responds:

I gess i should hade put it into industrial then hahahah. Yea thats my favorite things to do is to is mix alot of sounds and sound effec togethere Thnx for the 5!

Catchy

Sounds cool, would be good for a game. The beat is cool too, and it's great all around so I'm voting 5. Noticed you also had a song called Storm, that one's great too, and it's interesting because I was gonna submit something soon called Apocalypse Storm. What software do you use?

Waterflame responds:

thank you! yeah i also think it woul have been cool in a game or movie, thats kinda why i gave it the text too :) ill look after the apocalypse storm then ;D

i use fruity loops studio 5. i know 7 is out, but i kinda prefer 5. XD

Sweet stuff

How'd you get that sound to phase up and down like that? I'm voting 5.

Syntrus responds:

Buzzeffect adapter and Karma FX it nearly destroyed my computer

Good stuff

Pretty awesome stuff, what effect did you use to make that synth fade in at 1:14? I'm voting 5.

black-diamond responds:

the fadey thingy? linking a peak controller to a.. well... another peak controller lol

Nice Melodies

Some parts of this have cool melodies that just work. Usually your melodies are very free-flowing, but in some parts of this song, mainly the parts without the high-pitched synth, each individual note "matches" with the bass. It's hard to explain but that's usually how I make my songs, with most everything matching. I think maybe sometime you should try doing that just to see how it turns out, if you can understand what I'm even talking about because I can't explain very well lol. Is the robot voice saying "Time for the band?"

g-r4ve responds:

time for the "beat"

Hey

I remember this song, It's awesome! I haven't been on newgrounds in awhile so I went on just now to the audio portal and I heard this song playing from the top 5. Glad you decided to resubmit it.

Not sure if I'll make anything new for awhile since I'm in college now with no music software just yet. Keep making sweet stuff.

g-r4ve responds:

sup man... good to hear from ya. Hope u dont give up on music

Good for a first

This is far better than most first songs I hear. It's not perfect, a little less reverb on that one fast sample would have been nice in my opinion, but the melody fits together, the percussion is good, and I think you'll be making some really nice stuff in the future as you continue to get better. What software did you use by the way?

Bill24 responds:

I use fl studio 7. I thought the percussion didn't do so well, but hey. You liked it xD

Thanks again for the positive feed back!

I've heard something like this

That melody you were singing was in a song that I heard awhile back, but I don't know the name. Do you know what it was? I'm just curious to know.

The singing sounded kinda off-key, but the background stuff was good. A pretty decent song overall.

TheUrbanNinjaGirl responds:

no i don't know the song, but somehow it just came to me. the background stuff was recorded from a song called "enegy is you" by the hitmen.

Hey I'm Anthony and I basically just make music that I like to call my own style.
