Interesting melody

The melody is disorganized but that's why I like this song. Usually music that has a similar sound to yours is very predictable, but the direction you took is definitely unique. What VSTs did you use? Oh yeah, I would avoid using default voice clips from FL Studio since that makes it sound more noobish. But I guess people who don't use FL Studio won't notice that.

Pretty good

I've listened to a few of your works, and it seems like you have potential. You're pretty good, not exceptionally good just yet, but with practice you'll get better. Maybe you should practice making original works, and you might improve faster that way than if you make remixes. Of course I don't know that for sure, since I'm not a remix guy. In fact I've never made a remix in my life.

I'm horrible at original works. As you can see, they hardly make it past two minutes.
I also seem to live in "Quantity over Quality". Totally unintentionally, though.

Nice beat, in addition to everything else

The beat has a nice tribal feel to it, and it's paired with some great synths. Keep up the good work, seriously! It's a shame that this song isn't getting more attention.

The way you used the percussion was really interesting. Separates this song from a lot of other trance. Great job.

But seriously, that doesn't really matter. Just so happens I also have z3ta so I recognized that arp from the intro. I like how this song adds a touch of heaviness, since most trance is too airy fairy for my tastes.

I agree with the first guy, you used some pretty sweet riffs. I myself love metal from the 80s, and some of the stuff in this song sounds like 80s metal stuff. I'm talking about the melodies, which you did a really good job with. I think modern metal should focus more on melodies instead of just heaviness. Your song has a great balance of both.

Reminds me of stuff on a ship

It's like a sailor's tune from hundreds of years ago, which is pretty sweet. It also reminds me of a game I played for the Commodore Amiga way back in the day. But the game had nothing to do with boats. Did you use FL Studio for this? If so, which VSTs did you use for the instruments?

You know, up until now I didn't even realize this had something in common with sailor songs, but I guess it really does! Thanks for pointing that out.

As for the sounds, they're all free soundfonts downloaded off of hammersound.net, and yes, this was made in FL studio. If you're really interested in the specific sounds, feel free to PM me, and I'll list the sounds that you want to know more about.
